Taking steps, crawling, talking...10 months already~!

She's on the go! Miss Independent just likes to go, go, go! She started crawling on Easter, she took her first step only a few days ago, and now she is just moving everywhere....cruising around all of the furniture, walking along the walls, sitting down, standing up. We turn our heads for a minute and she is gone; either down the hall, in her room, or in the kitchen (good thing this house is small so we can't really lose her!) Let's see...what else? She eats EVERYTHING, seriously. Put something in front of her and she scarfs it down...filling up her cheeks like a little squirrel and then somehow swallowing it all without choking (although I freak out all the time thinking she is going to choke)...but she does it. She loves broccoli, kale, cottage cheese, steak, chicken, avocadoes, cheese, salami, pickles, mushrooms, spinich, plums, olives, pretty much everything (pretty fun!)....but she's not too into peas or pasta (that's about it though).Hmmm....she has her own language and is so cute. We just sit back and watch & listen. She "talks" to her toys, her hands, the trees, Frankie. She still doesn't really say anything with meaning, but she is getting there. Also, she points at everything. She'll point at something, do some "talking" and then we'll go over to it and she just wants to touch it. So fun!..and SO MUCH WORK!...the days are quite busy!
