1 Year Old

Our little girl is 1 year old already! What a fabulous year this has been....although it has flown by so quickly. Caitlyn has become such a little person now, not a baby anymore.....although she really is taking over the Grennan side of the family...we have a midget on our hands. At her 1 year check up she is not even on the charts in size...she is only 16lbs 15oz....our LITTLE girl. She has 4 teeth, her two bottom middle ones and then she has 2 fangs...yep, her top two eye teeth are in....it's pretty funny when she laughs and smiles with her 2 big fangs hanging down. This little girl is so full of energy....she is constantly walking all around the house and chatting to herself, us, her stuffed animals, Frankie....oh, and she loves to talk on the phone.....everything is a phone that she puts up to her ear and talks on...pretty funny (and everytime I swear she says "Hi Dad") She loves to dance; she rocks back and forth, and goes up and down to the music (she just won a baby dancing contest last weekend too!) She has specific songs that she ONLY wants to dance with Matt to....I try to take her out of his arms when they are dancing at night and she only wants him (too cute). She is very independent and just does her own thing, walking all over the house-going into the kitchen to play with the letters on the fridge or the pots and pans, or next we'll find her in her room hugging and talking to her big stuffed animals, or just trying to open and find anything new. She is also SUPER SMART (!!!) ask her where her head is and she points/touches it, and her nose and her belly and her feet/toes....and she loves to read her books (probably over 10 a day) and point to everything in the books and try to "read" with us. She loves to color, swim, play outside in the dirt, garden with Matt, throw rocks in the river, swing, put her feet in the water, hug Frankie.....sooooo much to do and learn every day. How fun is life right now? oh....and she (and I) are just having a blast every morning teaching my Stroller Fitness Classes with all of the moms and kids...the babies love it and we get such a good workout!
We love this little princess so much.....and BOY can she act like a princess sometimes.....!!!!
